I will explain this as if you just got Swift Kit so if you already know how to set everything up then just jump a few steps until you find what you need.

A) Once you have downloaded SK a small window will appear with will say [Launch Swift Kit] press that button (select which server you are using, I am using USA)
B) A small window will appear with the several buttons [Create New] [Delete Selected] [Use Selected] and a checkbox Always use selected.
1) Press on [Create New]
2) Select the profile name you want to use (preferably your rsn)
3) Select your Password *for the profile*
4) Confirm the password
5) Write your runescape name
6) Press ok
Note: The password used for the profile will not be the same as your IRC name password; the IRC name will also be different unless you make it the same, in this case PLEASE use your rsn for your IRC name and if you want use the same password for the PROFILE & IRC Name
7) Once you make the profile press use selected, input your password and press [ok]
C) Now you are in the Swift Kit window (wooo), press the button that says [Show internal Utilities] on the bottom right side of the window.
D) Now that you have done that you got 4 little symbols on the right press the little "pacman or "smily" face.
1) Where it says Nickname write your rsn as indicated in the picture
2) Where it says channel write #nutz-lobby
3) Then click where it says connect.
Note: Will show you what the other options and buttons do later, for now do these steps ONLY.
E) You are now in our #nutz-lobby chat. I will explain how to register your nick now.
1) First write in the chat the following /ns register [apassword] [apassword] [
your@email.com] [
your@email.com]
2) Once you do that, wait a few minutes and check your inbox, if not there check your junk, or wait a bit more.
3) Read the email, it will have a code /ns confirm [thecode] copy paste that code into the IRC (SK Chat) window.
4) You are now registered! (Now you can join #nutz once our ops go through a certain procedure, once you go in the chat if you are already in Nutz tell them that you are new to SK and are just getting it set up)
F) Now I will show you what those other options do, first press on the [Start] tab will be the first one.
G) Now you are in the start up of Swift Kit again.
1) Press the button that says [Options], new window will open up.
2) Press the button that says [Add].
H) Once you pressed the button [Add] this will come up.
1) Name: Put your rsn
2) Server Hostname : irc.swiftirc.net
3) Server port: 6667
4) Nickname: Your Rsn
5) Backup name: (optional)
6) Password: The password you used to register the nickname (this will help you autoidentify your nickname)
I) Press the button [Add] under the Autojoin channels. A small window will appear and it will say Channel Name and Key/Passwords, only put #nutz. Leave the password part in blank.
a) Once done that checkmark all of the boxes bellow. And press [Save]
b) You'l be back to the [Connection] tab and press the [Ok] button, if you do not wish to set highlights jump to step L)
J) Highlights are very important (Specially for staff), these will allow you to know when your name is being said or a certain word.
If you followed from step I) then you should be in the connection tab. If not go to the [Start] tab in the conversation window then press the button [Options].)
a) Go to the [IRC] tab.
b) Make sure all of the check boxes are ticked exept the one that says "Enable message filtering"
c) Click the [Add] button, then write the words you want to be set as highlight then press ok.
(you can only add 1 word, if you want more repeat this step)
d)Then press the [Ok] button on that screen.
Note: For staff, please make sure you have buzz, the start of your name, your whole name, and part of your name if it has numbers leave on that specific hl the numbers out.
K) Where it says Select Profile, choose the profile name you just made and then Hit the button [Connect]
